NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 6th November 2018 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act of 1984”) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be as follows: -
Not all bus passes will be renewed automatically from 01 January 2019. This is because there are approximately 20,000 passes in circulation that have not been scanned on a bus prior to renewal, indicating that the pass has not been used. In these cases, the passes will not be automatically renewed.
Damage to Market Cross

On Monday the 15th Century Market Cross in Malmesbury was hit by a heavy goods vehicle resulting in considerable damage to one of the supporting columns. We are currently awaiting the report of a specialist engineer from Historic England before seeking quotations for the necessary remedial work.
