The rain has really given our Malmesbury in Bloom planting a great start .

With the generous donations of local groups and businesses the beds and planters are looking lovely and enhancing our beautiful town.

We hope this will inspire you to get busy and enter our Malmesbury in Bloom competitions. 

For all those budding artists and photographers aged 4 to 16 years, we would love you to enter our Painting & Photography Competition. For full details please click on the link Malmesbury in Bloom Children's Painting & Photographic Competition.

There are catagories to suit all in our Gardening Competition, from window boxes and hanging baskets to wild flower areas, large gardens and vegetable patches, so have a go and enter.For an entry form with the six catagories please click the link Malmesbury in Bloom Gardening Competition entry form or call in at the Tourist Information Centre in the Town Hall.

Latest News

There will be a limited service today at the Tourist Information Centre and the Town Council office in the Town Hall.  Electrical engineers are undertaking important work in preparation for the refurbishment of the Tourist Information Centre. If you need to speak to the Town Council or the Tourist Information Centre, we would be grateful if you could please ring instead of coming to the Town Hall.  Telephone: 01666 822143.  If however you need to make a visit, please use the Jack Daws entrance and knock on the doors into TIC and a member of staff will come to you.   We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
A Civic Reception was held on Friday 28th June for visitors from our twin town of Gien in France. 26 visitors arrived on Thursday including the Maire-Adjoint of Gien, Cllr Stephane Cornee.

Summer is the time we think of holidays and going places. It’s great if you can go out and about with friends, but transport is an eternal problem particularly if a group of you fill more than one car.
