Storm Bert update
There continues to be numerous flooding issues in Wiltshire following the aftermath of Storm Bert and our teams are working hard throughout the county to provide support.
Although there may be some outbreaks of rain this evening, we are anticipating flood water and river levels in the most affected areas to recede over the next 12 to 24 hours.
Please take care on the roads and drive to the conditions. Remain vigilant of surface water and do not attempt to drive through any floodwater. It is advised to plan your route and allow extra time for your journey.
Please report any issues using MyWilts.
Flood warnings and alerts
This morning there were 21 flood warnings (flooding is expected) and 23 flood alerts (flooding is possible) in place across the county. Please keep an eye on the Government’s flood alerts and warnings webpage for the latest information. You can also sign up for flood warnings and find out about what do when warnings/alerts are in place.
