A Civic Farewell to Reverend Oliver Ross - Sunday 1st November 2026

On Sunday 1st November 2026 a Civic Reception was held to say a very sad farewell to the Reverend Oliver Ross and to wish him well on his retirement. Oliver's last Service in the Abbey will be Sunday 15th November 2026.

The Mayor and Mayoress, Mayoral Cadet, former Mayors, Councillors and the Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire were present at this event. And Oliver was presented with a piece of art work of Malmesbury from the town council, by local artist Philip Kingsbury.

We all wish Oliver and his family all the very best on his retirement.
