Public Toilets

Free Public toilets can be found at the rear of Malmesbury Town Hall (at the junction of Oxford Street & Cross Hayes) and also within Malmesbury Town Hall.

Short Stay Parking

Short Stay car park can be found in the centre of Malmesbury outside the Town Hall.  Blue Badge parking is available here, in the lower High Street and by Malmesbury Abbey.

Long Stay Parking

Long stay car parking can be found at the main Long Stay car park which is located at the bottom of a short hill, behind the Abbey at Station Yard. UP TO 2 HOURS FREE PARKING.

MOBILITY: Please note access to the town from the long stay car park is via steep steps and therefore is not suitable for wheelchair users and people with mobility difficulties who wish to visit the town centre.

MALMESBURY

MALMESBURY is a vibrant, market town, steeped in history going back to medieval times. Currently home to many famous & popular musical, cultural, and festival events throughout the year, visitors can browse the charming streets with independent retailers, or stop at one of the lively cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars.

Attractions to visit include the stunning 12th century Malmesbury Abbey, 15th century Market Cross and the Athelstan Museum with a painting of Malmesbury Abbey by JMW Turner. There are also lovely walks along the River Avon.
