Malmesbury is also known as the FESTIVAL TOWN because of the wonderfully diverse festivals held in or around the Town during different times of the year. These range from  WOMADBADMINTON,   to Malmesbury’s famous CARNIVAL  with different events held during August each year culminating in a fabulous Carnival parade through the Town.

More information about local attractions and events is available from the Malmesbury Tourist Information Centre.  Please contact the Centre on Tel: 01666 823748 or by EMAIL if you have any further queries, or visit the Tourist Information Centre which is located in the foyer of Malmesbury Town Hall and is open Monday to Friday.  It is also open on Saturdays and Bank Holidays, 10.30am-3.50pm from Easter to end of September.
