A virtual evening of celebration took place yesterday in Malmesbury. It was the annual Civic Award ceremony which recognises people who have made a contribution to the town of Malmesbury over the past year.
Nominees, proposers, Mayor, Councillors, Sponsors and members of the general public were invited to attend this event from the comfort of their own home. The great news is that was a fantastic success with well over 100 people in the audience. The 2020 award ceremony is one that will not be forgotten!
Many congratulations to the winners and everyone who was nominated.

Mayor of Malmesbury Campbell Ritchie said: It was important we continued to hold this important annual event. The technology worked well for us and it was great to see so many people being able to take part. I would really like to congratulate all of our nominees, those awarded 10 year voluntary service certificates and each of our fantastic winners. They are an inspiration to us all.
