Climate Strategy Consultation - Wiltshire Council

Wiltshire Council are giving residents, businesses and local groups in the county the opportunity to have their say on their draft Climate Strategy which will help to shape the next five years of the council's action on climate change.

From Wednesday 1 September to 23:59 on Sunday 17 October, people can comment on the draft strategy, which covers seven delivery themes: transport; built environment; waste; green economy; energy generation, storage and distribution; natural environment, food and farming; and carbon neutral council.

Have your say by visiting https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/green-economy-climate-change and completing the on-line survey.

MALMESBURY is a vibrant, market town, steeped in history going back to medieval times. Currently home to many famous & popular musical, cultural, and festival events throughout the year, visitors can browse the charming streets with independent retailers, or stop at one of the lively cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars.

Attractions to visit include the stunning 12th century Malmesbury Abbey, 15th century Market Cross and the Athelstan Museum with a painting of Malmesbury Abbey by JMW Turner. There are also lovely walks along the River Avon.
