Thursday 8th May 2025, marks the 80th Anniversary of the end of war in Europe and WWII.  Malmesbury Town Council will be joining the nation to come together to remember the millions that paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting and securing the freedom we all enjoy today.

We will be lighting the Beacon of Peace at 9.30pm in Cuckingstool Mead and raising the unique VE Day 80 Flag at 9.00am at the Town Hall.
