On Saturday 15th April 2023 Malmesbury Town Council held a Community Day in the town centre.
Local community groups and voluntary organisations set up stalls in the Town hall, the Abbey and in the Rausing building to talk to residents and promote the clubs, societies, interest groups and activities that locals can join in with. Charities like the Foodbank, HEALS and the Royal British Legion were also promoting their services and support for local people. There were also taster sessions in Morris Dancing and Yoga and everyone enjoyed a performance from the Malmesbury Concert Band.
It was also an opportunity for the groups to recruit new volunteers, so if you want to support a charity take a look at the Town Council website.
