On Saturday 24th August Malmesbury celebrated Ukraine Independence Day with a Civic Reception in the town Hall.
The Mayor Cllr Phil Exton, hosted the evening and was joined by the Deputy Mayor, Stephen James, the High Sheriff of Wiltshire Dr Olivia Chapple OBE, Shirley Ludford and Angus Macpherson, Deputy Lieutenants of Wiltshire, Rev Oliver Ross and invited guests.
There was singing by our Ukrainian visitors and a beautiful poem by Katya Manamsa.
