Town Hall Administrator

20 hrs per week (permanent)

Salary  SCP 4-6 (£23,114-£23,893 p/a pro rata) Closing date: Midday Friday 8th March 2024

Malmesbury Town Council requires a Town Hall Administrator on a part-time basis for the following activities: 

  • Maintain the hiring & letting of the Town Hall and associated tasks.
  • Oversee Caretakers.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure high standards of work.
  • Responsible for maintenance of fire safety records & evacuation plans

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to members of the public, will be enthusiastic, reliable, and capable of moving furniture and equipment on an occasional basis and is able to work unsupervised in a professional manner. They will be responsible for maintenance of room hire diary and sending out invoices in a timely manner
