Mayor of Malmesbury VIRTUAL Ball - Saturday 20th March 2021

It is great that so many are already coming to the Mayor of Malmesbury’s Ball on Saturday 20th March 2021. Admission is free and if you haven’t got your ticket yet there is still time. Please go to https://www.malmesbury.gov.uk/mayors-ball-2021. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

The evening itself is set to be great fun. Compere Andy Somers is limbering up, the cocktail recipes are ready, top magician Kerry Scorah has a trick or two up her sleeve, Flying Monk radio have the decks turning for the After Ball party from 9:15pm and the music choices are pouring in.

The Silent Auction for some great donated items from The Cake Tin, Phillip Kingsbury, Richard Walker, Minchinhampton Golf Course, George Vets, The Mayor of Malmesbury, James Gray MP, the Dyson Foundation and more is open for all at https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/mayorsvirtualball2021. You don’t have to wait until the Ball to make a bid.

Currently home to many famous & popular musical, cultural, and festival events throughout the year, visitors can browse the charming streets with independent retailers, or stop at one of the lively cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars.

Attractions to visit include the stunning 12th century Malmesbury Abbey, 15th century Market Cross and the Athelstan Museum with a painting of Malmesbury Abbey by JMW Turner. There are also lovely walks along the River Avon.
