Prayers for the Mayor and Town Council - Choral Evensong Sunday 1st June 2025

 

It was a beautiful Summer afternoon for the Malmesbury Choral Evensong on Sunday 1st June 2025.

The Mayor, Councillor Stephen James was joined by the Deputy Mayor of Amesbury, Deputy Mayor of Cirencester, Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Highworth, Mayor of Marlborough and Deputy Mayor of Royal Wootton Bassett. 

Also in attendance was the Deputy Mayor of Malmesbury, Councillor Robert Hastings, Mayoral Cadet Rosa Clough and Malmesbury Town Councillors.

The Warden & Freeman of Malmesbury led the procession from the town hall to the Abbey where a service was led by the Reverend Oliver Ross.
