Prayers for the Mayor and Town Council - Choral Evensong Sunday 23rd June 2024

It was a beautiful Summer evening for the Malmesbury Choral Evensong on Sunday 23rd June 2024.

The Mayor and Mayoress were joined by Angus MacPherson, Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Christopher Bromfield Esq, Under Sheriff of Wiltshire and Mayors from Chippenham, Highworth, Marlborough, Trowbridge and Royal Wootton Bassett.  Also in attendance was the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Stephen James, the Mayoral Cadet Matthias and Malmesbury Town Councillors.

The Warden & Freeman of Malmesbury led the procession from the town hall to the Abbey where a service was led by the Reverend Oliver Ross.
