Boundary Changes Proposal

The Mayor and Councillors of Malmesbury Town Council have submitted proposals to Wiltshire Council to change the boundary of Malmesbury to reflect past and future development in and around Malmesbury and to address the problem that many residents who live close to Malmesbury town centre do not have the opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of Malmesbury, or have a say in how services that are important to them are run.

You can download a summary our proposals and why we have made them using the link below.

Wiltshire Council is now asking residents of Malmesbury and who live in our neighbouring parish of St Paul Malmesbury Without for views on our proposals in a short survey that is open until the 31st December. This will help them decide whether to consult further about any or all of our proposals. We would like to encourage as many local residents as possible to contribute to this survey. Of course we hope you will be supportive of our proposals but all responses are important. We would also be grateful if you pass on this information to your friends and family who live in Malmesbury or nearby.

Thank you.

The Mayor and Town Councillors, Malmesbury Town Council.
