Visit to Malmesbury Honours a Twinning Friendship of Almost Seventy Years

On 7th June, a civic reception at the town hall, led by our Mayor Cllr Gavin Grant, welcomed twelve Year 9 and Year 10 students from Niebüll.

Thank you so much to Angela Atkinson, aka Born Again Swindonian, who has kindly covered the story of our Mayor Cllr Gavin Grant meeting young people from Niebull who are on an exchange visit to Malmesbury School. Students from Malmesbury will be making a return visit later this month. Click the link for further details on the visit: https://swindonian.me/2023/06/12/german-students-visit-malmesbury/
