Weather warning Tues 6th Jan 2024

Further yellow warnings for snow and ice across Wiltshire this week
Another Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice will be in place across Wiltshire from 5pm this evening until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday). There is also a further yellow warning of snow in place for parts of the county on Wednesday, though this may change.

If you are driving in Wiltshire, please allow extra time for your journey, drive carefully and take notice of any signage. If there is significant snow, you may wish to avoid travelling if possible. If you are planning to use public transport, please check with your transport operator before you travel, as there may be delays or cancellations.

Our gritters will be out again throughout the night tonight treating the primary and secondary routes across Wiltshire, but please do not assume that a road has been treated - always drive to the conditions.

If you notice any issues on the highways please report them to us via MyWilts or call 0300 456 0105.
