Wiltshire Police propose to save additional £5.2m in 2025/26

  • Draft budget papers published today show that, due to mandated Home Office requirements, Wiltshire Police needs to save an additional £5.2million in 2025/26
  • The Force’s priority is ensuring that the impact on frontline, operational service delivery is limited but how these services are delivered will have to be reviewed 
  • A comprehensive, three-year savings plan is being developed in consultation with Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson to ensure the Force continues to operate as efficiently as possible while continuing in its journey to improve the service the public receive.
