CIVIC EVENTS
Back to Skool Disco
Dear Former Pupils,
You are hereby summoned to Malmesbury Town Hall for a Skool Disco of the highest (and slightly questionable) standards… all in aid of Malmesbury’s Mayor’s Charities:
HEALS of Malmesbury and Malmesbury & District Foodbank.
Proceed first to the Assembly Hall, where lessons will begin with a very serious (but mercifully brief) address from the Mayor.
You will then be released (under supervision) to the Wesleyan Hall for:
🪩 A proper Skool Disco
🍬 A tuck shop (yes, sweets ARE allowed)
🍹 A bar (illegal gin may be confiscated… or encouraged)
🕺 House names, nostalgic tunes, and questionable dance moves
Rules strictly enforced:
❌ No running
❌ No talking at the back
❌ No pretending you didn’t love school discos really
Dress code: Scuffed shoes, half tied ties, spots and pigtails
