COMMUNITY EVENTS
John Bowen Gallery - An Exhibition of Work by Paul Deacon & Brian Britton
Paul & Brian were teaching colleagues and have been friends ever since.
Brian is a printmaker based in Lechlade.
The work on display is based on landscape studies from Buscot Park in Oxfordshire and the movement of sand, sea and rocks drawn on a beach at Llwyngwril, mid-Wales.
Paul has been making art in Malmesbury for almost 50 years.
The work on show is a mix of drawings and paintings made en plein air and in the studio, inspired by the flavour of Trinidad & Tobago. Also included are a number of paintings of local subjects.
